A superb example of the highly regarded Orvis Zero Gravity 966-4 Tip Flex fly rod, measuring 9'6" and designed for a 6-weight line.

About the Zero Gravity

The Zero Gravity was one of Orvis's flagship high-performance fly-rod ranges of its era, introduced in the mid-2000s. The range was developed around exceptionally light, high-modulus graphite construction and was highly regarded for its combination of lightness, responsiveness and casting performance.

The 9'6" 6-weight Tip Flex is a particularly useful specification, offering the additional length and fast Tip Flex action that make it well suited to larger trout waters, loch fishing, streamers, heavier nymphs and fishing in windy conditions.

At only 3¼ oz, it is remarkably light for a 9'6" 6-weight rod.
